DescriptionRed, blue, and khaki colored thread woven with white beads. It has a wide band with long streamers, tassels at the end of the streamers.
Scope and Content NoteThe ceinture flechee, or wovern sash, was made by local Native Americans out of unraveled Spanish uniforms. Reported to have been worn by Encarnacion Chireno, leader of the Nacogdoches' troops, during the Battle of Nacogdoches in 1832.
