Children’s Ofrendas
Ofrendas are alters assembled in honor of ancestors that have passed away. They are a very important part of the Day of Dead rituals performed during this national holiday in Mexico. Children, as well as adults, are encouraged to create these displays as a way to show respect for their cultural history and to remember the past. In this video, we see a collection of ofrendas created by children. |
