At the Caldwell Zoo in Tyler, Texas, we have a meeting with the King of the Jungle at the lion exhibit. Lions are the second largest cat species, behind the tiger, and reside in Africa and Asia. They usually roam the savannah and grassland region, where they hunt most hooved animals. A group of lions is referred to as a "pride." Female lions hunt in groups, as teamwork is their specialty. Male lions are easily recongizable by their mane and roar.
