Bargueno style Chest of Drawers Decorated panel on Chest of Drawers

Art teacher Alisa Ripley discusses various pieces of hand painted art located in the Palacio Cortes Museum in Mexico.

The first piece is a chest of drawers incrusted with ivory and shell from the eighteenth century. It was part of the furniture from the church of Tepalcingo,Morelos. Tradition says that it belonged to Dona Juana Zuniga, the second wife of Cortes.
