Day of The Dead Student Ofrendas
Diorama 1    Diorama 3

Ofrendas are altars assembled in honor of ancestors that have passed away. They are a very important ritual practiced during the Mexican national holiday, Day of Dead or Dia de los Muertos. Children, as well as adults, are encouraged to create these displays as a way to show respect for their cultural history and to remember the past.

In this video, we see a collection of ofrendas created by children at a public school in Cuernavaca, Mexico.
