Construction of the Cathedral de Puebla began in 1575, but was not entirely completed until 1649. The building features sculptures, stained glass, archways, columns, and multiple altars. The organ reaches nearly to the gilded ceiling. Candles burn as symbols of individual prayers, as Latin songs echo throughout the cathedral. The Puebla Cathedral is known for having the tallest bell towers in Mexico (69 m/226 ft).
The enchanting music in the background of this video is the live recording from the morning mass.
