Father of Texas - Created by Linda Huff, grade 4

Project Summary:
This lesson combines history with art and theater, as students learned about the "Old 300" colonists, brought to Texas by Stephen F. Austin, and created a play to reenact this event. They designed and built their own set, props, and costumes, and performed their play in front of an audience.
