• When you were ten, what did you want to be? When I was 10, it was the bicentennial for our country. I didn't have a career mapped out, but i wanted to be around for the next centennial celebration! (I guess I'd better cut down on the bacon and start pilades.)
• Favorite type of food: Thai and Italian
• Favorite game: Boggle, and I am currently Sudoku obsessed
• Least favorite chore: Cleaning off the clutter on my desk at home

• Unusual item you found on Tides: One of the features I especially liked was viewing an object (for example, a Caddo pot), and being able to rotate it, thereby getting a more realistic perspective. I think this will really appeal to students as well.
• Unexpected item found on Tides: I didn't expect that the science resources were still being accumulated and not formally on the Tides site. I can't wait to see some of the virtual field trips
