- What's a present that you've wanted more than anything? A present? Heck, I have a list! Cowboy boots, an electric piano, a pirate sword, and a photo safari to Africa!
- Favorite music: I like all kinds, depends on my mood, mostly classic rock, or disco stuff from the 70's
- Favorite place in the world, and why: London, England. I've never been, but have always wanted to go. The city has two-thousand years of history and has melded it with its modern day incarnation, and I guess this intrigues me.
- Favorite type of food: I love Italian and Chinese (just not at the same time!)

- Unusual item you found on Tides: Chamber pots and commodes with a link to the Toilet Museum. (Who knew such a site existed?)
- Unexpected item found on Tides: guess just the broad wealth of information that is available. The links to different places and things just fascinated me. The page-turning software site with DaVinci and Mozart's notebooks kept me enthralled! I had so much fun with the inflation calculator that I designed a lesson with it.
