Angelia Greiner
- Name: Angelia Greiner
- Hometown: Midwest City, Oklahoma
- Family: Husband, Mark, one daughter and one son
- Movie Star name (first pet + street you grew up on): Tasha Coe
- Most embarrassing moment: Hmm.... let me think about this one!
- If you could be a celebrity for a day, who whould you be? The Secretary of Education. She isn't a celebrity in “Hollywood Circles,” but it would be interesting to walk in her shoes for a day!
- When you were ten, what did you want to be? A teacher
- What's a present that you've wanted more than anything? Rollerskates when I was about 9. They were under the tree that Christmas!
- Favorite music: All kinds really, except "extreme hip hop or rap" and traditional country music. Sometimes I am definitely in the mood for some funky blues and jazz and then another day I might be jammin' to old April Wine. I also enjoy really good Christian music and, of course, the mainstream music groups such as Nickleback etc. Music is very much a part of my life as you can see. Itunes is an area where I can really get in trouble both in time and money!!
- Favorite place in the world, and why: I would very much like to go back and visit Misawa, Japan, where I went to high school. I am sure it has changed from '83 and I would love to tour England and Western Europe (France, Italy, Spain, Germany). I am a real history buff and would love to see the sites I have read so much about!
- Favorite type of food: I like Tex-Mex and Gyros at the state fair. I usually do not have a craving for steak or Italian food. I do like pasta though!
- Favorite article of clothing: Sweaters!!! and Boots!!!
- Favorite movie: For many, many years it was Gone With the Wind. It is such a classic!! But now I have quite a few favorites such as The Breakfast Club, Fast Times at Ridgemont High (my era), as well as Glory, Gettysburg, etc.... I am quite a movie buff too. I watch all kinds of movies, even Turner Classic Movies.
- Favorite web site: I don't have a favorite website since I visit so many. I have Edweek.org as a favorite. It is full of information about what is going on in education throughout the United States. I also like the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the ASCD website for curriculum developments.
- Favorite game: Hmm... I don't have a favorite game. I don't play games that often. I got into spades a lot when I was a lifeguard in Japan. It was monsoon season and well, what are you going to do as a lifeguard during monsoon season? I enjoy the original Trivial Pursuit game, but unfortunately there is no one who wants to match wits and play the game with me!
