This detailed coloring page will allow students to recognize and understand the many traditions and legends associated with the Day of the Dead. The students will be exposed to a typical Ofrenda, complete with paper banners, candles, Marigolds, a picture of the deceased, fruits and vegetables, juice, a pumpkin dish, sugar skulls, sweet bread, and a pumpkin.
These Day of the Dead ofrenda coloring pages, made by students at the Escuela de la Ciudad de Curernavaca in Morelos, Mexico, inspired this project.
