Student opportunities:

Student workers in the library's Digital Projects Division have the opportunity to work on various aspects of the TIDES project:

• Translating documents into English and/or Spanish
• Creating written and oral transcripts
• Developing virtual field trips
• Image and video editing
• Website development and graphic design
• Scanning, photography and videography

Digital Projects has also included artwork from some of our talented student workers in the TIDES database, and users can currently view the work of Jennifer Turner and Josephine Bibby.

TIDES Art Collections and Virtual Museums: Digital Projects has formed partnerships with and visited many museums in both Texas and Mexico. The result has been an extensive collection of digital images and virtual expeditions currently available on in the TIDES Database. These resources are free and can be reproduced for educational purposes.
