The Texas TIDES website began as a portal to cultural and historical primary source materials related to Texas from the 16th to the 20th century, from the holdings of museums and libraries located across East Texas. With TIDES, the database has expanded and now includes history and geography virtual expeditions and images from Mexico. Most recently, images have been added from student study abroad programs to Europe.
